Teamwork
Hey guys I have a crazy idea. Instead of blaming the specialists for no teamwork, how bout we blame the battlefield community that seems to forget that teamwork is essential. Crazy idea I know.

Here's another crazy idea, how about Dice reinstate the core mechanisms that allow team play.
How about, first off, the ability to actually play as a team. Because, as things stand, Dice have limited us to only playing with three friends. Dice have also removed VOIP, so no help there. They haven't implemented a proper squad system, or a way to spawn in intelligently, or to change sides if you end up away from your team mates. There's no server browser, so you cant reliably get more than a few friends on an AOW server.
At every turn Dice have chosen to * team play, but you think its players who are responsible.
Possibly the worst take I've seen on these fora.

@Lancelot_du_LacThe interest in BF is still out there, I think if they had included the so called legacy features (or as we call it, Battlefield) ....
I strongly suggest we stop using the term legacy to describe core features.
Legacy is PR speak to try to reframe these mechanisms as optional.
They are core mechanisms, and their absence is a huge deal.
What's a medic?

@acousticxeroI really think that VOIP will get a lot of people back. They will see that it is all still there just better. VoIP should have never been left out.
I doubt it will bring people back and unless it is proximity chat, it's not going to do much at all for teamwork when there isn't even any squad management in the game.

@acousticxeroHow do I downvote a thread, because I'm downvoting this hard. Blaming the players for failures in design from DICE is just lame, dude. Very lame. Not cool at all.
Are the Specialists making people camp in their spawns with vehicles or on hilltops far away from the objectives just as they were doing in BF3, BF4 and BF1? What about all of the rooftop camping from defenders on Breakthrough when the capture/defend area is on the ground? I saw the same things from players in Rush when playing BF4 years ago.
