Yes sure counter measures solved the issue, claiming counter measures could solve this is a bit much honestly. Did you even play Redacted yday?
Ofc this is mission related so should all go back to a sort of bearable state in a few days, hopefully. I like the challenge to break a defense and it was funny yday for maybe 2 minutes to see the whole map completely loaded with those mushrooms but then it just gets annoying as hell again.
APS isn't as strong as it used to be and imo the last bit of balancing needed is to allow just 1 APS per Irish at a time, not 2. Allowing only 1 at a time might actually make them stronger, because 2 APS next to eachother wear out at the same rate because they both activate anyway, and will die at the same time leaving the Irish with zero.
