@fcky316urKD In former battlefield games I switched roles depending on the game progress and what I wanted to play. Anti-tank, sniper, infantry, tank, anti air, etc. There was more reward for supporting the team (I just say SOFLAM). I think this was also because many people did the same in order to win the round.
In BF2042 I mainly do the weekly missions and some weapons attachment grinding nowadays. I really don‘t care any more if my team looses or wins. This is because of the state of the game for me (TTK, de-sinc, double damage packages, low reward for team play compared to kills, etc.).. If a new weapon is introduced it is always OP - so everybody plays it before it get nerfed into oblivion. This also makes the game quite one-sided. Basic game mechanics are broken (spawns, helis & anti air, some tanks, map lay-outs,..). Everything in BF2042 seems to be aimed at the lone-Wolf, squirrel-on-redbull player… so this is what you get in the game experience.
DICE and EA lost many fans of the franchise because of this. If they gained more people, who like the „new“ BF experience I don‘t know but I doubt it.
Like the new AR. Everyone is using that. I don't feel like it OP though
