Of course it should depend upon the size and flow of each map, that just makes perfect sense.
Another thing they stopped doing in BF2042 is spawning the vehicles at captured flags. You used to have to earn them by capping flags and once the flag was capped some vehicles would spawn about near that capture point. Each flag would have it's own set of vehicles where some flags would only spawn jeeps and other flags tanks or heli's, etc.
I do miss this way of doing things, it made capturing points that much more fun.

In addition to my earlier response, I just wanted to add that, IMO, there are already too many vehicles being spawned on most of these maps. Back in the BF2 days you never had so many vehicles friggen everywhere like you see now. It's just too much fodder and actually ends up taking away from the tactical way of playing. It's quite COD'ish. tbh.
I'd like to see at least a few new maps that are smaller and offer more infantry style battles and less vehicular stuff. This would end up being much more tactical in nature and would help to mix things up a bit because right now playing on every map just plays the same way over and over again with crazy amount of vehicles and explosions...enough already, lets get back to our roots with better gameplay and less vehicled maps.
- IPFreely_C4S4 years agoSeasoned Adventurer@BigShottt I think a lot of us feel there aren’t enough of the “right kind” of vehicles. Tanks, AA, LAV, etc. There are plenty of light vehicles to get you from A to B, but they are kind of a joke otherwise. Hell, I’ve taken out a LATV with Sundance tracking nades.

Go then to play WARZONE You don't know what are You talking about... Since Battlefield 1942 the vehicles already existed the first one game made by EA of Battlefield. It was not necessary remove almost all the vehicles from this BF 2042 it was just necessary bring back maps as metro or locker only infantry but to do this * in conquest mode of 128 players just 1 vehicle ? They litleraly are killing what it meant a Battlefield... and this is happening because of crystal players like You! Players that just know to complaing about dying for the vehicles. I remember in BF3/BF4 even BFV nobody have complained about the vehicles like right now after WARZONE... People which They have gotten used to just to do cancel slide, run, jump and kill x50 without anyone can stop You. But When this happen in the wrong game because this is not WARZONE The butter players go out to cry themself reporting have been hostiged by pilots CRY CRY CRY.
- BigShottt4 years agoSeasoned Ace@Air-iSkywalker First of all, please watch your mouth and your tone of voice when speaking to me...there's no reason to be so disrespectful in your nature to my opinion on this.
Obviously there's a slight language barrier and you've misunderstood my meaning. All I'm wanting is a better balance of gameplay from map to map where we are given the opportunity to play some more infantry focused maps.
If you've ever played Solo/Coop, each and every map just ends up littered with tanks, apc, aa, jeeps, etc and the gameplay is all about destroying all the vehicles because as a human player if you don't spend all your time killing vehicles then you can't win the match...
...therefore the PvE gameplay becomes the same exact thing map after map and is very unbalanced. It would simply be nice to have a few smaller maps thrown into the mix that are more infantry focused...such as Karkalnd map was back in BF2....back then there was a better balance/ratio of killing vehicles to infantry, IMO.
I'm not familiar with playing PvP so perhaps you are getting a different gaming experience there.
