I've always felt 2042 like a cartoon to me. The bland and no textures in the maps. They could have literally just remade BF 1 but in a future setting and it would have been a winner.
The tornado should be there from the start. They could call the map “eye of the storm”, and it could be clear for like 5 -10 minutes of the game and then back to storm again.
Well apart from all the other stuff that "sucks" in this game (e.g. movement / physics, animations, "legacy features", ...) it is really sad to see, how they completely wasted such a great setting. Maybe there is some talent left, sadly not at the people making decisions. So instead of a gritty, "pseudo-realistic" tactical battlfield, we got a copy of Warzone with some heros.
Perfect sum up for the situation: "Don't be sad, this is just how it works out sometimes". What a time to be alive, right?
At least they got, what they deserved for screwing this franchise and telling the community how stupid and bad they are in form of "brutal expectations", "endless hate" and "minorities that want to hate the game". Numbers are speaking for themselves.
