    It's the internet.

    A tiny portion of the players spend time discussing games.

    An even smaller portion rage about things not yet seen or tried in practice. 😉

@No1StingerUserUK In a game like BF, I'm not sure that customizing your characters physical characteristics matters. In a game like Apex or Fortnite, it totally fits. In BF 4, I only wanted the best matched camo and the weapon mods that fit my play style

@HappyHourSumwur Agreed. I really don't care about getting wild with customization in a military shooter. Specialists are just that. They are sub-classes of the standard BF classes. They aren't full up heroes.

Overwatch and Apex are going for the larger than life Avengers type heroes with full power sets and over the top personalities. The cosmetics lean heavy into that.
