Waited for an opening. Why wait if Sundance is so good? Youre wording this like it is a slam dunk. You do realize 3 C5 on the top of a tank doesn't destroy it now, right?
But aside from that, in 2042 it is possible that every infantrysoldier you encounter has c5 so… yeah
Every Infrantry huh? How do you explain the plethora of ammo crates, spawn beacons, med crates, Recoils et al. Are people cheating and getting more then one gadget choice? Or are you spewing information to make it seem tanks are weak?
without a doubt, groundvehicles have to deal with the 6th time amount of threats compared to older titles in 2042.
C5, mines, Lis and recoil, are the only ground effects. That isn't 6 times. Lets examine each shall we
1: C5 - good range, once release cannot be steered, need 3 hits and then trigger. Must be placed in right areas, avoid dying throughout process. Vehicles moving decrease success rate of landing all 3 exponentially, especially if they turn. On average, 1/10 success. Increased success playing Sundance.
2: Mines: once laid, a crap shoot. Odds increase in Rush.
3: Recoil: 4 hits needed. Cannot be steered.
4: G-84: Limited Range. Lis lights up like a big target on screen. No agility in steering capacity. Fast moving vehicles outrun them. Vehicles with medium speed can avoid by turning and using obstruction. Cannot destroy a vehicle on its own. Needs teamwork.
Especialy Liz… you just need 3 or 4 Liz players who are devoted to theyr task and you basically have banished groundvehicles for the enemy team.
You mean..... dare I say it....... TEAMWORK! OMG how can BF have teamwork! I find it funny that when there are multiple vehicles on an objective farming ground, its teamwork, but when it is reverse and armor is the target GET THE NERF BAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ive been told ad nausea in similar discussion, use teamwork to destroy armor. Now, YOU DECRY teamwork as OP! Which is it please?
C5 in 2042 should have the same throwing range like back in bf3.
Bull pucky. The accuracy of said range is horrible. Unless of course, youre not moving. That seems more like bad strat then C5 range. I dont see a need for a nerf because you cannot find the W key.

Press the G-84 acceleration and you will be happy, probably you don’t know about it?

I am aware of the boost, not the kill switch. The boost is how I get my Air kills.

The boost pretty much eliminates the turning ability. If you miss, the kill switch would be helpful here although the range is *. Ive spoken on the lack of agility the missiles have. That being said, even with all the shortcomings of Lis, if DICE did one thing, there would be no need to change her.
Remove Borg Regeneration from the game. Players, Vehicles, all of it.

This is logical, the gamepad allows you to make a long strong turn that you cannot implement with a mouse on a rug. This makes it easier for them to hit air vehicles.

i don't play on pc, i play on xbox. the missile has a VERY slow turn rate on console. you need the helicopter to be hovering to be able to hit it. if it moves the smallest amount the missile can't turn fast enough to compensate. if the helicopter is traveling in one direction you can lead your target but if the helicopter changes direction, again you can't turn fast enough to account for the change in direction (and that is with sensitivity turned the whole way up)

@Prof3ss0r_M1k3 It is possible that there are some restrictions on the controllability of the G-84 on the Xbox, but I am haunted by the fact how sharply you can turn the rocket. When dodging a rocket, I make a sharp drop in altitude and move to the side; on a PC, using the mouse to follow such a maneuver of the G-84 is simply not realistic. I notice that only one player from the team makes such G-84 somersaults, that's why I have suspicions, how he twists the rocket like that and hits me. I note that in all cases I tried to actively dodge the rocket. The rest make natural mistakes.
- 3 years ago@AlkaniusRUS i have heard that the rocket turns much more sharply on pc than on console so that may be where our differences are. perhaps there is further difference between gamepad and keyboard on pc

I haven't tested enough to figure out what setting it is, but I play on low DPI with low in game sens and adjusted zoom level movement. One of those makes it hard to steer which is dumb. It should be it's own thing like a vehicle....
