The game is 2 months old, no updates for a month now...

It can be argued that they should not had released the game until after the holidays.

It can be argued that they could had released a document with their future changes and plans.

But it is unreasonable to expect them to not have a Christmas break.

This is not some Japanese company

@Nightflyer735 Assuming they got off the day of Christmas eve, they went back to work 10 days after new year that's about 3 weeks..

This update better be more than just fixes. This could very well be the end of Battlefield as we know it..or a new beginning?

If you want news, do yourself a favor and start following some of the sources on Twitter.  You'll hear more useful info there than you ever will here.  The constant bickering between the doomsayers and the defenders that try to downplay some others concerns.....its ridiculous.

Anyhow, I for sure know that there is an update of some sort coming next week at least for Portal as Justin Weibe of Ripple Effect mentioned a few days ago.  .....regarding progression in Portal.  Now, whether that comes with other fixes, improvements, etc, I don't know.  Nor do I know if they will even tie other updates in with that, if it will be a download or server side update or if anything will be coming shorty before or after.  

Another good source I have found on Twitter that I was recently made aware of is Battlefield Bulletin.  It's a community created project but they seem to have some inside info at times and tend to keep up on official news in real-time.  Marcus Lehto is another but he is on a planned vaca for another week.  ....an EA Director that actively engages with fans.
