@timodeckersyou could've stopped at "The game is dead" and would still be accurate.
During a live-service season AND during the mid-season LTE the player count is dipping to 9-month lows. Seriously pitiful and embarrassing.
I mean, doesn't that also mean that most PS5 players are playing with crossplay? If that's the case, then is it the game's fault?
Is there a way to get data on number of active players by platform, region, etc?

There isn't a way for us to see that data as it's not given out unfortunately.
Edit: We can see Steam player numbers, although that obviously won't give a complete picture.
