@JudgeeJ2042 is as competitive as any other battlefield game. No one wants to lose a fight in the game.
However you are right about online bots, that is the worst decision Dice ever made and when I start a round and 50% are bots I just switch off mentally and don't try as hard.

Mostly everything in 2042 feels completely pointless and I feel that I could care less about the actual outcome of the game due to how unstructured the game is. Noting you do in the game feels as if it's for the greater good of your team. It's all too mindless.
In past BF games, I felt like I was apart of the team. I felt that what I did mattered, but in 2042, it's all about yourself. The game is made to be played selfishly, and without structure in place, no one is to be blamed for playing in such a way.
The game does not incentivize playing for your team, so why should anyone care about the outcome? It's not like winning or losing matters or has any meaning. It's not like I can communicate to the other team and compliment how awesome of a game it was. I can't see a scoreboard to compare and see how well I did for my team as a whole. The whole game makes winning/losing meaningless.

All I see on these boards are people making excuses for not wanting to use teamwork in this series just like they have always done. It is too easy to park a tank or a Bolte on a hilltop far away from the objectives and shoot into the crowd to stat pad. The same things that they were doing in Battlefield 1 when the score board was present.

You don’t gain anything for winning nor for loosing except a tiny XP difference.
It doesn’t matter how much you die, it doesnt matter how many you kill.
It doesn’t matter your contribution to the fight becouse they hardly make a difference at 128 players.
There is literally no competition without a scoreboard or detailed statistics of your BF career.
This game is build around noobs, the skillceiling of most weapons are nonexistant, the same goes for vehicles, especially the bolte and nightbeard.
This game is all around participation, nothing else.
And it sucks.
The conceptual design of this game along with 128 players makes competition almost pointless.
You can be a damn good infantry player on those open maps, completely outskill every other player, be it performance wise or from experience but you will still die to the vehicle noob who bought the game 2 hours ago.
Nothing, absolutely nothing in this game is competitive as any other battlefield game.- @Bolvard Why do you need a scoreboard, statistics and points to do the best you can for yourself, your squad and team?

@Skill4Reel, totally agree, the amount of people that used to, and still do, play Team Death Match Conquest Large was/is ridiculous.- @Trokey66 Becouse its where you can get valid informations about your usefulness/effectivenes in the game and how you perform.

I get it, you don’t need it becouse you don’t want to know if you actually contribute something or not, you are not that competitive player and it’s okay to play so.
But don’t judge others becouse they want to be competitive, not becouse they have a grim outlook on life as you call it but becouse they like the fire of competing each other and what is fun for them in a video game.
