The military as in a hole
Within battlefield 2042 I know we have engineers support staff medics and assault and snipers now why couldn't we have mortars and also artillery to help out with the tanks it's just a thought for EA...

Hi @Harry572020 The mortars were removed when BFV came out, if memory serves due to people complaining about indirect fire gadgets (it was still possible to do with the PIAT, and there was the artillery call in too of course), so I presume that it's the same thinking with them not being in BF2042.
I'd personally quite like mortars to come back. I'm not so sure about artillery strikes though as it got tiresome being pummelled by it in BFV, but that's just me.

I totally agree with you when we were in the military we work together I spent time in a Canadian Armed Forces regiment then went on to being in the Canadian Armed for the Airborne and I enjoyed my time in the Army but I also have some time that as hindered me in life and it brings back to many bad memories sometimes
