The minimap is a bit to OP

Seriously it's kind of crazy how bad it is. And it's not like I am not using it to my advantage but if you aren't looking at it every 2-5 seconds you will be killed. A dude can look at your direction from far away and spot you for his team even if you tried to sneak in. I've seen tanks suddenly realise I am behind them or approaching behind them because and enemy sniper saw me flying past his scope 10 seconds ago with sundance. Not to mention every shot you take will light you up as a Christmas tree and the entire enemy team will turn to you. Just try to go on breakthrough. Get behind enemy lines and pull the trigger once and just look at how many people turn around. Every player is constantly looking at their minimap because it displays where everyone is almost 24/7 it's like a uav is above us constantly. So many design choices feel like they are trying to close the skill gap between players. They removed actuall skill from aiming with rng based crap. They tell everyone where everyone is. And if you are struggling just equip a plate and you get an extra 1-2 seconds of reaction/firing time.

Worst part is the suppressors at this point aren't worth it. They make the gun do way to little damage and since everyone is basically running armor plates and the fact that aiming seems bugged/randomized it increases the bullets needed alot more. Honestly I just wish the minimap information would be toned down. Don't let people spot you accidentally. Reintroduce the 3d spotting mechanism instead and put it on cool down so you can't spam it constantly and allow 3d marking with q. The cool down wouldn't even be so bad since you can also ping danger should they run for cover. IDK as someone who is coming from cs go the skill level in this game is extremely low and is trying to appease extremely and sorry if this hurts someone but bad players. Worst thing is even bad players I'm terms of kd were loved and appreciated in previous titles. I don't remember the people that dropped 100 kills per match. I remember the medic that was a top 5 on the leaderboard with like 10 kills. I'd rush in like a crazy person into a room with 20 guys and die but those medics would be psychotic and rush im there with us only to pick us up so we could fight some more. Those are the people I remember.

Please DICE tone down the minimap. Reintroduce the previous xp system so there is an incentive again for support and medic players. Hell give medics and support player an extra gadget slot that can only have a medic bag or ammo. If it's to op just make it so they can't pick up ammo from their own crates.

So pretty much like BF4 then, the title I see most often referred to as the game Dice should have remade instead of BF2042?

@arandomn00b - Motion Sensor isn't passive and nothing new to BF. It's been around since BF3 when it was passive.

Motion Sensors are fine, especially when you consider it deactivates the moment you leave the spotter seat.

I was up on a tower using the recon drone and was lighting people up like crazy.  It was satisfying watching my team react, especially lighting up snipers.

@BicolorZuluIm not talking about vehicle motion sensors im talking about proximity sensor gadget that you throw and detects everyone within a certain radius of it. IE; Throw one into an enemy cap your team is rushing & watch your XP/Assists skyrocket which IS passive for the most part you throw the sensor & it spots on its own

Thata fine. Issue as described is people don't even have to see you just barely look at you from a distance. So a guy on b can look at you and not even see you but guys on A will react since you showed up on their radae

No bf4 was never this bad. You can throw a smoke grenade and you light up. Meaning g they are useless. Just look at your minimap and you know exactly where they are
