@Psubond I do know that.
It is a stupid workaround for a fundamental issue, how the specialists are represented, which wouldn't have been necessary, if the overall concept wouldn't be for a hero shooter.

Right, but i would be shocked if they got rid of specialists so we kinda need it

    They do keep trying to turn it into something it's not and every time they try they fail.

    However every time they make it seem more war like they do well.

    Hardline tried making bf into police shooter- fail

    BFV tried putting cyborgs and crazy skins into ww2 - failed, but then refocused to war again for the pacific update and pulled it back to tolerable

    2042....well

    on the other hand

    everything up to and including bf 2 focused on war and were all remembered fondly

    bf 3 and 4 again good coverage, everything looked military

    bf 1 probably had the most focus on a war game and was one of, if not the biggest hit they've had, regardless of the poor shooting mechanics
