People need to understand a thing: battlefield class system is a main thing of the entire franchise. A basic trait. If you don't like this, isn't the game for you.
Like the autor of the post: 64h on 2042 and probably his first BF in all time. What are talking about?
But don't come here and say ''class is a complete disgrace'' 110% wrong.

people who started the game from the beginning played for hours with specialists and no weapon restrictions. 14 months later, what is the logic of changing this? in fact, specialists were already a class and the game was optimized accordingly. now they took out the specialist classes and put them into other classes, restrict weapons and did not optimize the game accordingly. so armored and flying vehicles turned into terror machines. a really great update.
- S3SSioN_SoL3 years agoSeasoned Ace@murdocklawless Specialists were the furthest thing from classes. Classes are meant to give identity to a Squad and Team. You see an Engineer, you know your team/squad has anti-vehicle capabilities. In 2042, if you see a Flack, you don't know if she's running a smoke launcher or a ammo box, there's just no way to know and that's where 2042 fails EPICLY regarding teamplay.
Traditional classes alleviate this issue totally.
Also you might not know this, but they buffed the rocket launcher as well as the AA tank, so what you're saying is totally false.
