Try playing one night on Oceania servers. We have multiple twitch sweats who do nothing but camp the little bird to abuse it to go 100-0 every round. They all have at least one dedicated repair bithc who has nothing better in his life to do than hold mouse1 in the very rare times their helo gets damaged, using autoclickers to get the helo again if they ever get killed (and of course, give it to the sweat).
They ruin the game and DICE have catered to them at every step. They're even doing it again by nerfing Liz even more, and she's the only semi-viable anti-air weapon in the game now.

Soflam's are useless because they do nothing that you couldn't already do just by taking a stinger.
Not that it matters anyway, the air vehicles with their magic 5 second reloading flares that instabreak every lock in the game make it pointless.
They do not ruin game. Your team does. Ive been in games where i cant leave base. Get ur facts right. Bird has only 2 agms vs multiple vehicles. Do the math.
Edit: times are different now.
If you get stuck in main base as a pilot that is a skill issue.
@SkyL4Ncer21I use every vehicle in the game and I've used every vehicle in every Battlefield game for ~20 years. I just don't stick to one vehicle only then ragequit if I don't get it.
The TGM is extremely easy to avoid for the vehicles that OHK's, that's the balance.
If you think it's overpowered then play a different vehicle or play as infantry to get away from them.

Final edit: can I actually have this question answered for once? Why don't any of you have problems with the Super Hokum, Apache, stealth helis, or the Super Hind? These helicopters don't * you off more? They are way more common, way more overpowered, and way more skillless than the Nightbird.
I'm convinced these posts about nerfing Nightbirds and buffing Lis are from clinically insane people who probably streamsnipe pilots.
