The number of players is gradually decreasing!

There is absolutely not 10x that count on Origin. Steam has a larger player base with more exposure on its store to more people. I used to purchase battlefields on Origin but moved to steam since it's available there now and because Steam is a better platform. It just has a better game library too. There's no reason to buy on Origin over Steam if you have the option. A large amount of other Origin folks moved their purchases to steam too.
@ZarkullenO_O Would like to point out that no one likes buying games off of origin either, because of their * EULA when it comes to refunds and communication. It drives people insane to the point they want to do charge backs cause they feel stolen from, in which, per EA policy, they ban your entire account and any game you've bought on it. Have $3k worth of games on your account? Not anymore! Now you have to rebuy and reprogress in all of them!!
