I will continue to reiterate that most of my deaths (by considerable margin) are to console players. Time and time again they will win a close quarters engagement where they only started shooting when they hit about 12hp. One console player shot me through a solid wall. Others were clearly tracking me through walls. Another was capping headshots only with the M16, and continually knew my precise location when all other enemies did not. Those M16 instakills are clear evidence of not only an aimbot, but the reduced recoil these players have. He was firing it burst mode and landing every single shot.
Console snipers, right down to single digit rank, hit you in the head 90% of the time with any sniper rifle, regardless of movement or if they're being shot. One with a DM7 was being hit by Avancys fire and still managed to instantly take my head off. Its abundantly clear something is severely off.
I don't doubt your experience. What you're describing sounds more though like outright cheating than what's due to aim-assist. I've had (and still have) similar issues on BFV playing also on console.
Yet I'm continually told people cannot cheat on console. That last round? Four players out of 32 killed me. I died 7 times between them. All of them were console players. All but one of the deaths was a headshot. Multiple times I'm shooting them or someone else for nearly three times as long, and I cannot get a kill, while they are firing one shot. At one point I flanked behind, didn't shoot, didn't do anything to give away. They instantly knew I was there without any scanning. Bang, headshot. Crossplay completely sucks the fun out of any round in this game because it skews so hard toward someone using aim assist. To the point you can blitz them, and they won't die. Something that frequently happens is players getting to about 15hp, and then nothing will connect with them. I've even stopped shooting, then started again, and it still won't hit them. Dead on. Its like they're suddenly repelling damage at that point.
Console cheaters on Xbox, PlayStation, or both?
- @OskooI_007 I started on the PS3 back then, then PS4, then PS5. And now on Xbox Series X. What I can categorically tell you is that cheating is rife on both consoles.
