@Moab23 I respect (and understand) your frustration; but you built a strawman that you see as a culprit.
There is *no way* simple aim-assist accounts for what you're describing. I'm a full console player (i.e. no PC) and I come across the exact same *even when I play BFV* (ergo no crossplay).
I have huge admiration for proper skill; fair do when I'm shot as such, e.g. proper positioning, anticipation of move, map knowledge. But I've been shot through walls, spotted unseemingly, died in a millisecond, unloaded nearly a full mag on ones who just seemed to be impervious to bullets, and the list goes on. Not to mention what would qualify as inhuman reflexes (and my reflexes are above average). It's rare to find a balanced server on BFV (no cheaters, that is). When I do find one I can easily tell the difference.
There are console cheats whereby all positions of the enemy are constantly visible on the map + aimbots + misc. This is not the exclusive domain of PCs. It is a shame, but it is what it is.

Except this wasn't a problem in BFV for me, where I didn't need to run crossplay to get a match. Were there cheaters? Yes. But they were the far more obvious kind who'd sit on a hill and just shoot everyone.
Since having to resort to crossplay, the gameplay has been beyond frustrating. So how is it games felt more balanced against other PC players, who by rule of thumb should be harder opponents, than against console players who should, in theory, be outmatched by the reaction speed of a mouse and keyboard? The answer is they basically have a legalised aimbot, that lets them land otherwise ridiculous trick shots with annoying frequency. Inch gap in a wall? Instakilled as you sprint by it. Gap between steps? Instakilled in a microsecond. Rank 9 sniper halfway across the map? Instant headshot on their very first round.
They need to fix this. These MF'ers are shooting from across the map, no way they should even be able to see and damn near every bullet is a hit, unlike PC where you have to deal with the recoil jumping the rifle around

they ruined this game for PC - keyboard/mouse
Opened up on guy this morning at about 50 yards,turned right around and killed me in 1 shot. as stated, 95, no maybe 98% of my deaths are from * shots from console players
You are right sniping with aim assist is brainless , again I won’t say it needs to be taking out of Consol but it definitely needs to be de tuned like by 50% ! As it is now it’s pretty much an Aimbot !
Something to add. I switched off crossplay earlier tonight. Did struggle to get some rounds, but the rounds I got, it was like night and day. Weapons felt effective, lag was way down, and I got decent KDRs on the three rounds I played. I even managed to roll around in a vehicle and actually do something meaningful, instead of being hit by every rocket under the sun. It felt like matches from past BF games and it was so much more fun.
