The Question of Aim Assist
Okay, I'm finally putting this here, because I am really, really at a loss. How powerful is the console aim assist? From my POV, it might as well be a legalised aimbot. Currently, I have to resort...
When the last update dropped the game felt great. I was able to play in regular PC only servers and the input lag adjustments made a world of difference. Unfortunately, past week I cannot connect to any PC only matches, so I've had to resort to crossplay. When the input lag was adjusted even crossplay felt better. I have no idea what has suddenly happened, because it feels exactly as before again. Bunch of low rank players racking up dozens and dozens of kills. Headshot only in many cases. Tanking hits like they're nothing. Majority, per usual, are consolers. Perfect sniper headshots whether you're standing for a microsecond or ducking down, their bullet literally changes its trajectory to hit you. Hit an enemy player, instantly lost my head a split second later. Go to shoot an enemy player, and in the exact same timeframe of their bullet hitting me first, my shot was thrown miles off.
I seriously wish PC players would turn crossplay off so they can populate the regular servers.
Player in that round, rank 34, instantly takes my head off once. Then I bump into them again, point blank. Fire my AM40 right at them, nothing. They are facing away from me at about 30 degrees, one shot, my head comes off. Rank 34 had more kills and a higher KDR than anyone else in the match. It utterly stinks.
PC players just avoid SMG Rush or any other mode with a speed increase or RoF increases.
Somehow all Controller players have unbelievable skill to track you running and jumping at increased speeds without issue from any distance, yet the mouse input and lag comp is so bad on my side I have to lead an enemy with an SMG 10ft away to hit him while moving across my face. WTH. While I am instantly killed no matter what. Once I am visible, I am dead, from pretty much any distance, always a console player. Seriously frustrating. Something changed.
