Battlefield 2042 changed waaay too much compared to the previous titles.
EA and Dice gutted the game, robbed players 20 years of memories. Now other BF titles are turned into a memorial, of once was and lost, but not forgotten.
RIP Battlefield, may you find your way home someday again.

That's the thing right there, Battlefield Bad Company 2, and the Vietnam expansion as well.
I put so many hours into the game it was obscene, and now we have this rubbish.
I swear to god, the only reason I still play this is because I paid good money for it, but mostly in SOLO mode even though they punish you for it, because playing Multiplayer just whizzes me off too much with all the silly issues we have with it.
Not only that, but I even started playing The Last Of Us Part 2 again because I am so fed up with BF2042. It's BORING, has pretty much NO Levolution, the maps are BORING too, and there are far far too few of them. And what's with all the out of bounds when trying to go down the sides to try and flank etc?
We should re-name this Boringfield 2042, with a warning that you may fall asleep with the controller in your hand and injure yourself.
And to the people that may come in here and start spouting things like "well this was meant to be blah blah" or "The best developers left etc" that's fine, but, remember we all paid full price at the time, there were no "crap game" discounts given to anyone or even partial refunds because of no real content included, you know, Levolution, Team Chat, Server Browser, Fair amount of Maps, Too much time to fix things etc etc etc
Just hearing the specialists voices turned me off this game.
That alone showed how far DICE/EA are removed from the player base.
The next will be no better a quick cash grab promising the earth before hand.
I will not pre order another BF game and will wait at least 18-24 months before buying at a bargain price.
I'm still expecting batman/superman uniforms at some point as DLC. If not in this game will be in the next just to keep up with fortnight ,cod etc
