It is not good game design, it is a lazy sollution to a core problem.

As long as everyone has the same uniform, I think the Doritos need to stay.

A core game problem that NECER existed in any other title of the franchise...because they had actual functioning factions with avatars that you could clearly tell what class they were AND what side they were for..
Sure, BFV muddied the waters a bit with telling what class players were...but even 5 had working factions, you could easily tell an American from a Japanese soldier or a British from a German soldier.
Yet...here...it is a crap shoot and their excuse is the 'lore 'of no pat mercenaries fighting for both sides. I am sorry but that excuse doesn't pass the smell test. It is one thing using certain groups of people in a proxy war and giving them training and small arm weapons and launchers but I can not see the U.S. OR Russia allowing mercenary no-pats access to high grade armor and air vehicles, especially when they could switch sides on a whim.
That and I believe at the end of that one video, I think exodus, didn't Irish basically sent out a battle line call for everyone to pick their sides for this war? Getting some fixed factions seem like it would go with that lore..
