@Man_iLoveFishing I don't care what the previous threads were. I made a new thread because the 30mm is currently weak against infantry, air transports, and now also attack helicopters and jets that are strafing the wildcat, as I said in the OP. The first 2 were already bad but can be generally played around, but now with these 4 it is too weak.
Vehicle balance is rock paper scissors. Wildcats can't fight tanks, they will lose. Tanks can't fight attack helicopters, they will lose. Attack helicopters can now fight wildcats and often win. The balance fails.
The wildcat being outplayable by nightbirds with spin2win strats was already concerning given these other 2 lacked any serious outplay potential, shooting a tank's cannon at a helicopter attacking you is generally not a serious option, but ok, vehicles should be able to outplay one another and the game is more fun that way. However, then, that means tanks should not be defenseless against helicopters, and wildcats not defenseless against tanks.

@Lady_One And yet you forget about flak and canisters.

Maybe they should pay us to work at downing these guys since it's no fun to play against them.
@sk1lldThis is almost 2 years old video. How about you post something recent. I mean hind and condor still hold up. But not that lethal as in this video shown.
EDIT: 50 can't even one shot infantry anymore. Unless it's headshot. And there are no grenade pods anymore.
- @Man_iLoveFishing The Brawler that you're referring to literally takes extra damage from tanks, and its APFSDS will not let it solo a tank, rock paper scissors balance. Or... Just stay out of the 200m range of flak? And fly up higher when you're above a TOR?

- @Man_iLoveFishing @Man_iLoveFishing Ah yes, because you need to have a full four man wildcat to kill a single person in a jet or AH... never heard that one before. Every time this is brought up; "DoN't FoRgeT AbOut The FLak." The flak that only does a whopping 18/8 damage per shot, than any pilot can get away from really easily--especially jets.
What, you can get one hit in with flak and a good burst of whatever primary the driver's using before the jet's already in the stratosphere and any helo pilots are on the other side of the map camping out of bounds repairing?
Which all of this is so funny when you look at the fact it's coming from a guy who doesn't dare touch the ground, let alone a wildcat, because they only know how to spam click a heli in the spawn screen.
Do we want to go to the other heli-main argument when people complain about helicopter survivability and just say of "Oh--you wouldn't last three seconds in a heli. This takes so much skill to do, blah blah blah, infantry just suck." and turn it around on the heli pilots?
Which, sure--I'll admit; I'm being hypocritical saying that because I'm never touching those broken pieces of flying garbage ever and I'm not touching a wildcat either because it is so bad against said flying garbage. BUT *neither does any heli-main I ever see* (which, I can guarantee, includes you :D).
Watch the latest YT video from Ghostgaming to see just how easy it can be to destroy the wildcat when 2 Jets work together. The new 800m jet pods are lethal. It's destroyed within seconds....
- @MADMAC50K You dont really need teamwork to pull that off. Main jetgun 30mm does the rest for finishing off.
Wildcat is a Wildkitten now. DICE did not playtest this well.Didn't know that anybody uses 30mm, cause in dogfight and shooting inf its useless.
But hey, 2 jets. Try with aps sentinels. None jets will touch you.
