Theres too much spotting
It feels like literally everything in this game can spot you, you are always on the map and you can't do anything cause if you move you get beamed. Flanking feels like an impossible task at times an...
no spoting = camping fest
no spoting = buguser Invisible in walls
There is nothing wrong with spotting, that was never a problem in BF. The maps are just bad, because when you are spotted everyone can shoot at you immediately.
All the problems in BF2042 can be traced back to poor map design. Play Portal, on the BF3+BC2 maps. There you have a good map design and all the problems are not there. The same vehicles are not a problem, all spot mechanics are perfectly ok...
It was never a problem in previous titles cause it was never this bad period lol while I agree about your point about bad map design I still would argue I've seen way more camping in this game due to the spotting than other titles.
Don't need to move if the whole map is lit up like Christmas lights lol I think nerfing the proximity balls would help a lot
@Hori-Si-Tsun This is just a straight out lie, the best form of spotting was easily in BF1/BF5. No game has had more spotting devices in the game than this current title. Spotting should last until the person moves I could film the game I'm in right now and the amount of people on the map and moving is insane I could probably count the whole map. It needs a nerf the recon drone should probably only spot if it's closer aka can be in shooting range and the range of the recon ball could do with a massive reduction in range which is already confirmed to be changing
