To be honest BF has been horrendous for years. The last decent game was BF4.
The last 3 games have been horrendous. The most recent 2034 is by far the worst. I bought it in release and played for 2 nights and deleted it. I'm not a call of duty fan but warzone has been, in reality, the only option for several years now.
I won't be returning to BF until they bring out a game similar to 3 or 4. I still believe 3 to be one of the finest games available followed closely by 4. To not have a battle royale or plunder style game for me is on a loser. Games changed a few years back towards this sort of game. Frostbite was and is a huge advance but completely wasted by BF.
The fact you can have a server full of sweats or freaks is call of duties biggest error and will always mean people will look towards other games. BF had that and lost all the ground work done. COD is without doubt leading the way just now.

I'm confused, are you waiting for there to be a BF game that is a Battle Royale/Extraction Royale? God I hope there never will be another attempt at one, or if so, it will be a separate title entirely.
