This game needs an FPS limiter
Title. Is there any news about this? This is a basic feature almost every game has except bf2042. They need to add it asap.

I think for main game Vsync or driver panel to set the fps if you like however an ingame one would be a nice addition.
i would like to see a menu FPS cap of 60 fps implemented for the menus as the menus maxing the gpu to 100% seems like waste of energy in such an efficient engine.

@N00bdeagle I’d like to limit the FPS to 140 for gsync.
- @RaginSam you can set this in your nvidia control panel under manage 3d settings dont change global just change the per game options if the game does not appear you can add it.
in the list of options there is one for fps limit change that to 140 under the battlfield profile and that should set it for you.I prefer a hardware solution to this problem.
My laptops 1050 mobile does an excellent job at limiting the frames.
- @N00bdeagle I’ll check it out. From my understanding it’s always best to limit FPS within the game though. It would still be beneficial to have an option in game.
- @RaginSam i wouldnt knock back an ingame option - but setting it at driver level is even better.
