It's not the best and it's not as bad as people make it out to be
@GrizzGolf so true. It was bad on launch yes; it is "different" only to previous BF titles now. IMO.
IMHO BF4 was the pinnacle of Battlefield games, all the games after dropped key legacy features like dedicated rental servers, server browsers etc.
I disliked BF1 and BFV and now BF2042. They need to bring back the comradery the teamwork and drop the lone wolf game play. We need clan players back.
I wouldn't go as far to say BF2042 was the worst but it's not the best ether.
@sk1lldI agree that BF4 is the best.
But BF1 was actually good it had a few bad things, but in general a solid BF-game, BF1 had the highest overall quality of any BF-game. BFV was a large downgrade (attrition was weird), but it was still a BF-game and had good gun-play.
2042 is just annoying in my opinion, nothing is left that is fun, maps are boring/bad, boring gun-play, specialists are stupid, overall it is a cludge.They all have their pros/* and I've played all of them, some more than others`. 2042 for me was the worse but has gotten much better, so there is that.
Still, this game on launch was not very engaging and DICE has done a lot to change that, but it still feels off to me (excepting the usual lack of maps, weapons and vehicle imbalance).
- @sk1lld I can't agree more, it's exactly like you said. Probably the reason why so many player still play bf 4, including me. Soooo much better with right balance, NO op heli's or planes,.good AA, all have excellent chances
@Dutchie-Mario same. In BF4 the stuff is good in one thing and not so good in another. But just good balanced.
Not like in BF2042 where stuff is either too weak or too OP.
