And I agree, this is just a preliminary solution, but given that it takes no effort on their end, the only explanation they are NOT doing it is that they do not WANT TO.

PS: Now that I think of it, it does not have to be preliminary. It can be the permanent solution but of course they would have to add a server browser to not only be able to join those servers via MM but also by searching for such an official CQ server while filtering for ping/map and number of players on server. And because they already HAVE a server browser for Portal, I guess even this part would require an excessive amount of work.

That puts a different slant on things I would definitely vote for that as a very good alternative to what we currently have.

DICE why don't you trial this asap, then after we have used it for a period of time we could judge whether it is acceptable as a permanent solution or not.
