So, I’ll admit that at first it seemed kinda neat and was an interesting twist.
After experiencing a catastrophic storm on every single map, every match you play,…it gets a little old and annoying.
If the devs feel a need to showcase their awe inspiring programming and the graphical dynamics of their hard work,…fine, create a specific set of “storm” maps.
Overall, I see them now as nothing more than an unnecessary ad-campaign for how cool that Battlefield 2042 is going to be that has been forgotten to be turned off. Kind of like paying to run Turbo Tax ads in July.
It really just detracts from any strategic gameplay. Once in a blue moon event, sure, reasonable. Every damn map every damn match,…overkill.
