"Battlefield 2042 Gameplay | First Look At Renewal, Breakaway and Discarded Maps"
No portal.
Another minute of completely scripted and boring gameplay. Embarassing. Maps are looking like Al-soon-done: Boring and Full of emptiness

Hmmmm Nice maps but nothing realy interesting. Just marketing and didnt change my opinion.
- @TickTack121 yep agreed. I am rather concerned with this portal mode. Which is why I still must advise in doing the trial before purchasing.
Well at least we will get some old Maps, which we know are Working. Really Hope that the actual mal Designers didnt get their hands on the portal Maps.

@TickTack121I think JackFrags (or Westie) mentioned that they have added some areas to some of the maps to accommodate 128 players.
One of the map had some tidal zone revealed or something like that. Some unconfirmed sauce:
"The maps have been recreated in the Battlefield 2042 version of Frostbite, and updated in some ways to reflect that. There’s obviously updated visuals, but the Battlefield 1942 maps have been enhanced with destruction that was not there previously – BFBC2 and BF3 levels of destruction are maintained for their maps – and Valparaiso has a variant that lets you play at low tide."
Article posted back in July though
( Edit: added sauce and ref. )
- @TrasteTh I do not think Jack frags is hyped at all. Not in the least.
