Turn on VPN and game becomes much easier (clownface)

Or is this something everyone was already doing to abuse the netcode? Accidentally left mine on while playing.

Now it's the enemies dying behind a corner muahwhahaa

But in all seriousness how crappy is it that you gotta increase your ping to have a better experience in an online game......

Apart from the slight delay on initial hit indicator, you get way more accurate hits, enemies see you on a delay so I am actually for once the one firing first (before even when attacking from the back somehow they still fire first) and when moving or jumping it seems you are immune to bullets almost.

@ATFGunrIt’s so bad at times! I have guys jumping out from cover blind and one shot me while I’m head-glitching a spot. Meanwhile, nearly every time I jump wide out of cover I die before my feet touch the ground. Then there’s the walking turret type player, walking around hard ADS, eat half my mag, then kill me in one tick update.

There’s nothing to learn or improve on in those scenarios. It’s so demoralizing. I’m a sweaty try hard that consciously picks equipment in order to have low latency. I put in so much effort to lower any sort of latency and input lag into my system, then comes along someone playing on a TV, with a controller, with half my frame rate, but regardless feels like an impossible opponent. Just because they probably have 200-300 ping!

In the end it’s for sales, and I have no idea how we can motivate these companies to focus on actual fair gameplay. They just want to include every potential customer, so they write net code to accommodate even the worst connections.

    Absolutely infuriating.
