I agree with Portal, because you can create custom farming.
But the standard Portal games like BF3 Conquest, as an example, should give full XP as normal.
It's been weeks now, this is unacceptable.
- R1ckyDaMan194 years agoSeasoned Ace@AuramiteX they should seperate progression from solo/co op and mp, that way solo/co op players can get any unlock they want but it doesnt carry over to mp, cos hey you dont mp anyway and this stuff is for solo and co op only am I right? make it so mp unlocks and progress dont carry to solo/co op to make it fair.

Nope
Because that's not the game they sold us.
Dice promoted this game with shared progression across all modes. I didn't promise this, THEY promised it.
Right now the game we are playing is NOT the game they sold us. It's a broken promised, and it's something they actively took away that was available on day 1.
- 4 years ago@AuramiteX Yeah for the official Portal modes like that that's fine for full progression, but yeah custom Portal modes made by players should be capped at Tier 3 to help prevent farming servers.

So now the question remains.
When will DICE restore the features they promised for this game, and that were available on day 1 before they took them away?
The game we're playing now is not the game they advertised to us, and we've all been patient. If they aren't going to do what they said, and what we know they can, will they publicly offer refunds instead?

No nothin should be capped in portal. Maybe anything with bots or unfair/asymmetrical experiences but nothing like a normal tdm or hardcore game modes where nobody is exploiting.

Restrictions shouldn't be determined whether a session has bots or not. An all-real session can be easily exploited as well.
Caps may be the only way for them to handle it but they need to be realistic and fair. Perhaps by the hour using an algorithm that can detect unnatural spikes, events, etc. Everything is on their servers and they have all the data they need to track, mitigate and act on exploitive behavior.
