Legally speaking, the programmed game itself and the human element are completely different entities so it makes sense.
Profanity rules are common practice for online forums since they are usually open to everyone (Though I guess you technically need to be 13+ to make an account).
I unironically see nothing wrong with the material - I mean just listen to some of the hilarious things soldiers have said in past titles
@TTZ_DipsyDid you just censor an official Battlefield article on the official Battlefield forum? What kind of uno reverse is that?

Battlefield is a game centered around war, killing and the occasional necrophilic T-bag.
These things are encouraged/allowed in game.
Would DICE also be hypocrites if they took a hard position against such things outside the game universe?

But when someone else does it on the same forum - Its not allowed.
