Get used to it, it seems to happen a lot. And as I've found, it's not even down to the skill of a player. I've been repeated outsniped by a low rank player on a console (which apparently gives no advantage) but the netcode and crossplay have been a major problem for a long, long time. Multiple people have given up playing the game, simply because of these problems.
I've been playing Battlefield online since 2005, and most people I've encountered couldn't hit a barn door with a sniper rifle at the start. But then others have 90+ kills with a sniper rifle in a game, and they're rank 45, I just stopped trying to understand it. People say its lag / netcode / multiple other things, but it's never, ever someone cheating 😏🤥 Don't even suggest it! it's perfectly legit to hear a single shot ring out, and get hit anywhere but the head, and die, even though the weapon when you fire it takes 6-8 rounds to do the same damage. It'll always be the fault of the software or lag, and the fact that your eyes and ears have deceived you. 🙄
And if you play breakthrough, unless a team is incredibly well organised (like squads of mates playing together) it'll be a whitewash by one side or other. I vowed not to buy Battlefield 6, and I bought it in the sale because I was bored, but I'd have been better saving my money.
