Unlocked SOFLAM..

Or how do i tell my squad mate to spawn into my helicopter because i would like to wipe out the enemy at the top of a building?

Or when i am stranded at flag A on Hourglass and see a squad mate driving buy, how can i tell him to:  stop! Pick me up please, i need a ride. 

Or how can i tell my squad mate to follow me through this alley, i will get my shield and you could shoot from cover as we go ahead??

This game desperately needs voice chat. I would say top priority. Please!? Is there any news on this topic from the developers ? 

If you mark any vehicle with the Soflam, the vehicle has a red square on it, that signals everyone else in your team, that it's tagged by a Soflam. Technically you don't need to say anything. Otherwise use the teamchat. 

I am on PS4. Even if i could type, I wouldn’t. (I know it’s possible on PS4 too but i hope everyone gets it that VOICE CHAT is the topic here.) Everything needs to happen in a second. Even if you could type blazing fast, do you think your squad mates could read it in time and react? Is typing while playing an FPS game enjoyable? I don’t think so. How about casually chatting and laughing with your squad mates while driving in a tank? That is battlefield for me. Having fun. I don’t want to just party up or use whatever on PC with friends. I want to meet strangers too in Battlefield and have a great time. Stay with them for a few rounds and maybe befriend them. This leads to the next thing: we need to stay with the same squad after the round has ended. These go hand in hand and basic things.

I just use Angel when ever I want to use the SOFLAM.

Call in a loadout drop as Angel, Use the SOFLAM to mark a helicopter, quickly use the loadout drop to change to a loadout with the M5 recoilless, shoot down helicoper, profit.

@JOGAGATYAWith the random team/squadmates I usually get teamed up with I really don't even want to bother trying. It would be a pointless exercise to make a gameplan with a bunch of headless chickens.

I honestly find it kind of nice that I don't have to spend time muting mic breathers or people gaming with music playing loud as hell in the background every match.

If I join in with people I know I can already chat using PS5's party chat or have discord running in the background on PC

Don’t bother with it……the range is absolutely garbage lol by the time your locked on to a chopper it’s virtually on top of you
