The firerate on CQC ammo was a bit ridiculous for a OHK
They probably should've just remove the OHK from the CQC ammo and keep it on the regular
That way you can play aggressive but not balls to the wall aggressive like you could with the CQC ammo since if you miss a single shot, or if there's more than one person you are most likely dead
Also can the NTW mains make their own threads instead of trying to hijack sniper dicussions?

This thread is just pure hyperbole, there are more snipers in-game now than ever before especially with the introduction of the railgun and everybody and their dog trying to level it up.
While it does take some skill to pull off some of the quick scope videos I have seen with SWS, it doesn't mean it was working as intended nor should it work like that.
I would go so far as saying there should be a heavy accuracy penalty for snipers while standing/running and shooting they should have to go prone.
If you want it to be a one-hit kill a close range, then the reload should be drastically increased or you could always opt for the NTW50 it still one shots at close range.

LMAO, how about I don't, and you explain why that is such a bad idea?
- 3 years ago@InS_Hypno I hear where you're coming from man. Although, why even have CQC ammo if close quarters combat is so fervently discouraged with the SWS? The frustrating aspect to me is that it's a very particular build that sets you up to do this with the SWS and the game has now been out for a year, folks have found play-styles that they enjoy only to have them completely ruined for what feels like no good reason.
As for the Rorsch and season 3, it's more rewarding for snipers to hang back and take kills at distance (the Rorsch really does make this fun) but based on experience if you're enjoying this a bit too much it's likely going to get "balanced".- LMG72TeRMiNaToR3 years agoSeasoned Veteran
The topic should be the rise of snipers. I am still getting mowed down by DXR and SWS in every match and currently plus the rail gun...let alone the auto-snipers

OHK on the regular ammo wasn't OP, it allowed you to play aggressive but not as much as the CQC which let you press W as much as you want

OHK weapons are really a thing that should be kept to an absolut minimum.
If recons want to play CQC, use a gun that is intended for that (shotgun, automatic weapon).
Sniper-rifles can one-hit kill at any distance with a head-shot, that should be more than enough.
We cannot OHK at long ranges with ARs by selecting a non-auto firemode and some special ammo. Having this 2-in-1 weapon system for snipers are weird.
