Like: nothing about locked gadgets
Dislike:
- Lis can only use 40% of her class gadgets
- Rao can't see when he designates a target with hack
- boris and crawford have specialist gadgets that are useless against vehicles and marginal at best against infantry
- Rao can't use FXM (what is the point of the hack to fight against stealth if Rao isn't a credible threat to helo? window is too short for others to recognize and lock onto helo and have missile reach target before hack wears and flares are popped)
- assault offeres nothing to the team, they can only help themselves
Changed:
- make recon class gadget soflam, right now beacon is being used on a hillside 400m from objectives
- make target designation like it used to be (everyone can see at all times) including when designation is from hack
- make crawford and boris's specialist gadget useful against vehicles
- move Rao to engineer class (the classes don't have to be even just for the sake of being even. put people where they belong)
- allow lis to choose which launcher she will have as her specialist gadget (with the same cooldown/recharge mechanic that the TGM has right now. 2 of any other kind of missile won't break the game.
- move ammo box to assault and lock weapons to classes to give people an incentive to choose to be a medic, carry ammo, fight vehicles or...idk whatever it is that recon does (sit on a hillside and miss a lot?)
might edit this later but that's all i have time for right now

@Psubond You say that Assault contributes nothing to the team while asking for Rao to become a self-sufficient class that contributes nothing to the team. You want him to be in a solo class that requires no help or contributes anything

how long do you think 3 missiles last? and how well does that hack work on a mav when it is full and rolls up on an objective (hint pretty well because it lets others use c5 without getting nailed with flak cannon and allows others to lock onto the vehicle)? or when the condor/hind hover over an objective. Rao contributes by stopping the transports from sitting on an objective and allows others to lock onto them aka contributes to the team. what does assault bring?
- UP_LordPlumber3 years agoSeasoned Ace@Psubond So Rao contributes by allowing others to lock onto transports, therefore, preventing it from camping the objectives. How does putting Rao into engineer changes things? Rao is already good enough when it comes to "Team contribution"
