DICE TeamI'd really like Dozers shield to be buffed a bit. Right now it doesn't feel like it offers much protection besides from 100% directly in front. Also the movement when you use it is unnecessary. Maybe a 10-15% increase in size on the sides.
I agree with @DoomDash Dozer's shield seriously needs a buff and some of its in-game issues needs to be fixed as well. The turning speed of the [SOB-8 Ballistic Shield] is abysmal. An enemy player who is aware of the slow movement speed of Dozer when using the shield can easily outmanoeuvre you.
I have been through some instances where the bullets will clip through the shield and damage me as I hold it up. The melee range for the shield is also inconsistent where I sometimes can't hit a person who is literary in the striking zone.
Maybe Dozer could have some kind of "Shield Charge" ability in the future, which will deal some damage and stun the enemy player. The melee damage dealt from the shield could be lowered where you have to hit an enemy player two times instead of once before you down/kill them.
