Update 6.2.1 unbalanced games?

It's hard for me to say whether teams were balanced better before the patch or not. I'll join one game, and there will be about four of us sweaty try-hards. Then the next round it'll stack me against those three other players and give me the most bot teammates lol. I've also been on the other side of that plenty of times, so I don't really get how teams are being balanced.

My first game on Redacted after the update had 9 AI on my team 0 AI on the other side !?!?!

@UP_LordPlumberI get that extremely engineered feeling with some of the recent COD games and will not give them a dime because of it. I don't think Dice is that complicate yet, but I think they need to ditch the Battle pass. There's been a bit of talk recently about how COD games have been manipulating players connections in order to sell skins. I totally believe it too, and noticed something being way off before ever seeing these new "leaked" documents.

SBMM is important in my opinion. You want teams to have some sort of balance. If you put all new players, or people that just aren't very good all on one side versus a bunch of Pros, everyone is going to get either bored or very frustrated. It's a needed thing that isn't inherently bad. When connections start getting manipulated, that's when it becomes a problem. The other problem is when the algorithm for how teams are balanced is poorly designed.

I think the weirdness you're experiencing is due to the overall hit reg and Crossplay. Even with Crossplay out of the picture, there's still something weird about the servers and like people say, 45hz is kinda low for CQC maps.

Sometimes I think that when my character isn't moving correctly it's due to a super sketchy player who just joined and that they maybe cheating. It's hard to explain, but easy to feel. Like the game becomes jittery and movements seem slightly delayed. Vaulting becomes even worse somehow.

@RaginSamTell me there is skill-based hit reg without telling me there is a skill-based hit reg.

Reason I believe its a skill-based hit reg because it ALWAYS happens against some low-skill/low-rank blueberry with k/d of 1 or lower.  I never get this kind of nonsense against high rank players or players with higher k/d

@UP_LordPlumberI still don't think it's because of some sort of "Skilled Based Match Making". This happens all the time to me as well, and like with your video, it's against a Console player. I've had matches where I exclusively died to the same player going 85-4 on Redacted. All four deaths is to the same lower ranking player that my shots won't register on, and it's almost exclusively a Console player.

I've been saying this for a very long at this point, I believe Console players are given an advantage with the network. Like PC players are being put behind Console players a couple of ticks on the server. It's so consistent that there's no way it could be anything else.

Then you have to consider aim assist. Once you kinda master it in one game, it kinda works the same in others. Even though on your screen they were missing, on theirs they were probably locked onto you. The "Snap to Target" is so generous in this game compared to previous titles, then reduced recoil, and rotational assist that follows regardless of strafing movement. Console players just don't seem to miss.

If that was me in that video as the PC player, I would have died soon as I saw their character. Console players typically instantly kill me, and it's not because I'm a bad player. I'm a pretty twitchy player, sliding, jumping, crouch strafing, none of that matters it seems.

I've made a thread saying that Dice needs to be transparent about this hit reg situation regarding Crossplay, but obviously they'll never respond. I think everyone should support that thread or make a new one and we should demand an answer because something is definitely up.

I still think it's a networking issue. The issue is just so consistent with Console players, but does happen with some PC players as well.

I thought for sure this Streamer was cheating the other day. Like I knew he'd peek me from a spot, I had my sights on that exact spot, I'd die, then they would show up on my screen. I went over to their stream and everything was on camera, not that's complete proof they're not doing anything, but gives them more credit for sure. Do they manipulate the network somehow? Does the game favor some areas? Some rounds one player will be godly, won't take damage, move around all weird, and then the next they won't be able to play the same way.

I just got a new OLED monitor with 0.03ms response time with the pixels, the amount of BS I see now is staggering.

You could be right though. I'm just convinced there's network manipulation going on, and sometimes people get that magical connection.

One last thing to keep in mind, there are a lot of cheaters out there. They may not blatant, because most try to pass as legit players, but you might be getting targeted by them.
