@lzilchetl If you found a virus it may be worth reformatting and installing windows fresh...
That said, you can try running Windows Disk Cleanup utility [as admin] and have it clear up old windows installs [did you recently upgrade to 11? if so, it will have old Win10 files still there for either 30 or 90 days] as well as old updates.

Thanks, I went for a Windows reset, but had to uninstall BF2042 before I did that as the reset needs some spare space before it can run. All good now and I have my storage back and waiting for BF2042 to finish download (7hours apparently - that ADSL for you!) I might get a game tonight.... usually polish off most of the weekly missions on Tuesday night!
Thank for getting back to me. I'vd had WIN 11 for quite a while, and spent hours deleting Creative Cloud apps and others to create space, but every time I created space the storage filled up again. Nasty virus!
But nice clean machine now!
