Since I got all 2042 AR to red tier Im trying to do same for vault ARs.
I've been a big fan of 416 back in BF3 and BF4 so decided to start with it.
I feel like its underperforming compared to 2042 ARs (any)
Is it just me or everyone feels so? Or probably its intentionally worse? M16A3 is terrible too. The only somehow okay vault gun is MG
If DICE added them for fun and not for actual use I accept that and will keep playing with 2042 meta weaps

Well the vault weapons migh still have a certain disadvantage but that's probably not intentional.
They been worse as they added them from portal to AoW at first but recently they also got some 2042 attachments to them so you have a better choice to adjust it according to your play style.
So check through the gun attachments to make sure you at least set it the way you like to play it. Maybe helps.
Haven't played them too much recently but as i heard they ain't that bad now anymore.
I guess it's more like getting used to them too.
But of course there will always be still the meta weapons everyone uses.

My take is some are still worse than AOW weapons but it's not too many. Some of the portal LMGs feel really weak still but only a couple of the AR seem weaker to me. The SMGs feel about right. Ive been using a lot of the portal weapons lately. Some of them are fun to use and some of them are going to make you frustrated

Yeah you can't look at all vault weapons the same way there is better and worse ones. But also in the usual BF2042 weapons.

It feels like 416 behave like its BF3 while 2042 guns behave differently.. I played several rounds today - loosing much more gunfights than if Id use m5a1 or g36 which should be similar to 416
@sgtPoulton hm, interesting for sure. I can't tell, haven't played those guns in a while. Not sure if anything has been changed to them.
Didn't feel that bad in gunfights for me tho.
Maybe it was again the meta weapons you lost?

@sgtPoulton nah, not really any confirmed information. Besides that what i mentioned before that a while back they were worse so they made them better and gave them also different 2042 themed attachments to compete better with 2042 guns.

That gun murders. It's fun. I use the TV2 on it and I mean you can waste someone easily with it
