Vehicle Balance! OP AGMs
AGMs sigh! Do i need to say more? there is NO defence to this nuclere missile that takes you out in one go in any light vehicle and heavy vehicles are left with so little health all it takes is a...
This is a very old problem with modern warfare BF games.
Take out aircraft depends on lock on, aircraft counter the lock on and especially jets are out of there before anyone can get a second chance unless they can also keep up behind the jet, aka another jet.
Discussions about it were often followed by one of the players who do nothing but fly jets telling everyone to "stop crying and get gud"
In BF2042 the jets manage to both be overall bad vehicles and still be a pain because of how they are still basically only countered by aircraft

The last time we had modern jets was in BF4 and from a tank POV they were balanced due to the APS defence tanks could equip.
They were still a threat but they couldn't keep targeting you with quick follow up strafes we currently have in 2042.
The other issue with 2042 which is rarely if at all mentioned is that tanks also need hard map cover to use as an escape path.
They are in 2042 but nearly always near a flag which means you are then putting yourself at risk of inf anti armour attacks.
I'm over having to spend all my time in a tank hiding in the tunnel under Orbital's rocket or under the bridge in hourglass. It's really, really lame gameplay.
But if I don't and the enemy has AGMs my tank gets annihilated with no way to defend.
I know most inf don't care about tanks getting destroyed but the current balance between air and ground is approaching BF3 levels of being broken.
BF4 was damn perfect in this regard, choppers and jets were more powerful than tanks but it never felt unfair and with good tactics you could survive a lot of the time.
But if you have good jet/heli pilots on your team they should be holding the other jets/helis at bay so ground vehicles can do their job. If you don't then oh well sucks to be on that team and the enemy's jets/helis will have free reign on your ground vehicles.

But BF4 managed the air ground balance very well. If the enemy air dominated then yes you would have a hard time trying to stay alive in a tank because now you've got 2 jets and choppers / scouts that can target you and you know what, that's fair and you took the losses.
But in 2042 one jet can obliterate every ground vehicle regardless of whether the other team has their air in the sky. I've seen it happen a lot to know jets with AGMs are far too powerful with the current setup.
Oh what's that you say, use the jets hard counter the Wildcat!

Oh well good luck downing any good aware jet player with that chopper killer, because that's all it's good for in 2042.
It destroys choppers but is useless against jets. Furthermore the MAA in BF4 was actually a lot of fun to use, the Wildcat on the other hand provides a thoroughly tedious game play experience if you're trying to target air.
Due to the awful handling and terrible reverse speed you have to stay way back from the enemy or your going to get destroyed very quickly and easily by ground forces. So you end up in a quiet spot far away from all the action occasionly bothering a noob chopper pilot who strays within range.
