In a light vehicle (LAT4V) AGM's are a 2 hit kill, Bolte's still take 2 passes to destroy. You can use thermal smoke as a counter measure, and you can also get out of the vehicle which will throw the lock so the jet can't fire.
Keep in mind though that the Jet with AGM also has no AA specific offense, so its weak against a Hind, Condor or even a Super Hokum with a half competent pilot.
You only have your mini guns, and you cannot attack them from underneath or parallel or you will be 2 shot. A competent pilot on these flies at the ceiling so you also cant attack them from above. If you try it you'll just stall and be a sitting duck for them. Additionally if they have someone repairing as well you can never take out a fully loaded transport as a jet alone with AGMs.

- @UP_Hawxxeye Im aware of that, hence I said you can get a LAT4V with 2 AGM's, but a Bolte requires 2 passes (it takes 3 AGM's and typically most Boltes have a Quick Repair so often can take 4 AGM's)

Cmon Tsmoke is useless. jets just do another pass.and the "chees" of getting out of vehicle only works if your alone, no blue berrie gonna do that, and should not be necessary,
Repair Tool is a thing of the past thx to new specialists and will only work for so long, again Hind/Condor require team work "good luck with randoms" all that for 1 person in a jet.
would be nice to see some teamwork for the jets. like AGM only lock on to painted targets "SOFLAM"@Zakos-DKlight vehicles arent made to be invincible. If Jet's cant take out vehicles then what is their role? Also what is the difference between a Jet in BF2042 vs an Attack Jet in BF4? No one complained about laser guided missiles being unfair. Its part of the game, if you have a good enemy Jet Pilot, then your team need to bring in a good Jet, Nightbird or Hokum/Hind Pilot, or an EBAA Wildcat to deal with it. Shut a Jet down twice in a row and they'll normally give up. If they can even get the jet again with a 90 second wait between vehicle spawns for the player.

The main difference I would say between the interactions of air and ground platforms between the BF titles, is again, counter measures, which simply do not work properly for ground vehicles, and lack of defense options for heavy armored vehicles. Again, (I find myself repeating this a lot) AGM's ATGM's w/e you want to call them get through thermal smoke consistently since pilots know how to spoof it, the cool down is long and it takes a jet 0 effort to loop around and strike a target that has had no reliable or viable breathing room to reposition or retaliate if the thermal smoke happens to partially work. This would be like flares on an aircraft not confusing missiles consistently. Currently with the amount of platforms that can carry ATGM's it's simply overbearing, and with how little effort it takes to deal guaranteed damage and shut down anything on the ground, it is frustrating and needs to be addressed.
As folks have mentioned several times, and through countless other threads, the wildcat is not tuned properly to deal with a jet and other factors dealing with aircraft in general, I'm not going to repeat that -again-. A tanks only option is to literally get hit, and the most effective way to survive missile spam from the air (which again is the stupidest thing) is to get out so you cant be auto painted and targeted.
Just as you say, in this case, a light vehicle isn't made to be invincible, neither is a jet, there needs to be a risk for your reward and currently there is very little risk.
