Maybe a hot take but if soldiers can't have it then vehicles shouldn't either. It would raise the skill ceiling on all vehicles and bring more immersion. Tanks, helicopters, etc shouldn't be able to ...

@Tank2042Man Some advanced autos have 360 degree view around the vehicle. It basically creates a 3D image from multiple cameras in real time, and the view looks like it comes from 15 foot above the center of the vehicle...basically a "third-person viewpoint".
Also the advanced heads up display project all road signs in real time in front first person view, and only the driver can view the instantaneous projection of each sign animated (including speed limit), even in direct sunlight, its like a fighter jet pilot heads up in autos now, incredibly creative and useful tech. I was shocked when testing how far the auto tech has advanced in short order.
Actually the latest automotive tech is beyond video game tech in many aspects, as the autos have intelligent A.I..... BF 2042 not so much...😕
