@ATFGunr the cards you’re referring to can be equiped by anybody, regardless whether they’ve played that actual game or not. What @sx007-ivan means is a reward for the true veterans of the series who played one or more previous titles. Which we indeed used to have in other Battlefield games.
Maybe some kind of subtitle on top of player name and tag based on the military hierarchy?
Where someone for whom Battlefield 2042 is his/her first Battlefield game gets the label Private up to General for someone who has played every Battlefield since Battlefield 1942. The more titles played the higher the rank.
I'd really like the veteran stuff to come back, it was a nice simple way of recognising people who have supported the series throughout the years.
@ElliotLH I completely agree. This topic should be raised so that other players can express their opinions and the developers notice that they have forgotten about the veterans of the game series as an integral part of the community.
- @sx007-ivan They have forgotten about the real Battlefield veterans by releasing BF2042 the way they did to begin with. A lot of veterans have left the series because of it.
@RanzigeRidder2 Nobody promised that same classic of the past. At the start, 2042 was completely different, and after a long time and many patches we have something similar to the classics, but everything is absolutely not the same.
Now, if 3-4 cards from each previous game in the series were added to the Portal, then everyone would find something for themselves that they are so nostalgic about.
I would love to play on Bf4 maps (my favorite in the series) in 2042.
