It simply is overpowered though. The numbers back this statement up too, both by the damage numbers at distance compared to the most similar AR (the AM40) and the sheer amount of players using it. It also has less recoil than the AM40.
What this does is kill weapon diversity in the AR category.
The numbers don't lie.
@I_DYN4MO_I Fully agree! I switched to the M5A3 for a bit in an attempt to master it, but even with its CQ setup it does not hold up against a VHX-D3, it simply outguns every other gun in the game. You're almost obliged to use it if you don't want to put yourself at a disadvantage.
- @RanzigeRidder2 Yeah it still outperforms every other AR in the game right now post nerf. It was the same with the RM68. That thing got at least 2 nerfs to bring it in line with the other AR's. Just goes to show how OP they are when they're released.
Instead of nerfing the VHX-D3 more than they already did, I would suggest to increase the power of other guns. Nerfing guns to a point that makes them feel like toys instead of guns just ruins the gaming experience.
I don't know why this community never makes a big deal about the absurd headshot multipliers. Nerfing the VHX is not going to solve gunplay. Priorities.

Is it just the rate of fire that's making it impossible to play against?
- @GrizzGolf It's the combination or ROF, no recoil and the HS multiplier. I run this gun with suppressor and subsonic ammo to stay of the map, this should reduce the projectile velocity but I still beam with it.
