Dice need ping limits on servers - as has been so forever since online gaming history. There is a reason for this. Next is region control - you are US guy you can only play on US. Europe guy you can only play on Europe servers. You have friends in US and being a Europe guy - too bad - no way you can team up on same server - but in dice world you can - reason why experience go to hell for other players.
Network basics - a tcp package needs to travel around and a server has 0 chance to compensate for it.
Gaming exp. you are not in doubt when only low pingers on a server vs high pingers on a server - night and day difference.
And yes having game servers in all regions do cost money - but guess dice / ea has made a lot of money on this. Or else we need to go back as it was in old days - you rent / own your own gaming server with admins / kick vote and all that. In that way you could get way way better game servers running on physical hardware and not this cloud based crap that bf 2042 runs on today.
Back to BF3 and BF4 days and way of doing !
