Relying on randoms without coms has never worked in any Battlefield ever. And it never will work as people go into a game with different objectives. Relying on only 1 squad vs a horde of bots just emphasizes the common issues. One wants to play the objective and win the game whereas others stand back farming bots.
I've been playing the mode now several times and so far only managed to win once with a squad of randoms.
There are a few things that one can do to improve the chance of success and some of them involve use of the game mechanics, but it shows a lot of people don't know these mechanics. For example overriding doors. It seems few people are aware that you can limit access points to an area simply by overriding doors, as usually I'm the one who does it. In this gamemode I make it my first priority. Example; on both objectives on Exposure overiding the big hangar doors in the first sector will make your live so much easier. It will restrict access to the warehouses to only the regular doors for the bots. You can even override these doorpanels from some distance using Rao.
Teamkilling definitely was a wrong choice for this mode. The numeric advantage of the bots alone is challenge enough for a 4 man squad.
The crawling when downed mechanic definitely is a plus.
