I don't think it's a matter of agreeing or not, we just play the mode for different reasons. It's not satisfying game play for me to smoke an objective and push up slowly with a team, and that's the only way to play it. I want to kill stuff and clear a path. Like I said, I don't feel like I'm missing out, because in all honesty, there's nothing to it. It's a very simple game mode slapped together.
To be clear, whenever I rip on this stuff, I don't think it necessarily the devs fault, it takes talent and hard work to do anything in a game, for the most part, and they're probably a skeleton crew at this point. So it's more that management is the issue, I believe. I'm becoming bitter because games just don't feel like they're made by gamers for themselves, they feel like a product trying to just make money now.
The third person would be fine IF the camera didn't swing around when being resurrected, and if wasn't so zoomed up on the character model. The camera is positioned in a way that I'm trying to see my soldiers guts! Back it out a little, seesh. It really makes no big difference either way. Even with the regular game, getting resurrected flips the camera around wildly for no **bleep** reason. These are the details that makes me nervous for the next game. One play test, and I'd be like this feels awful, and it needs to be changed. And it's probably a simple fix too, a bad animation tied to something. At least not complicated for a studio like Dice. Yet, I see all sorts of oddities and bugs throughout the game, that if someone actually played their game, it would drive them nuts.
Glad you're enjoying it though. Everything doesn't have to be everyone. Battlefield is all about giving options for different play styles.
