This forum made such a big deal about it, so why don't players use it?
The discussion about the EA survey has caused me to ruminate on this. I have my own thoughts, but I would like to hear other points-of-view.
Possibly because the vast majority don't care/didn't want it but those that did were very loud about it?

Console players are the main users of voip because a headset comes with every console. Especially ps5, because a microphone and speaker is built into the controller.
I'm sure 2042 shipping without voip support and voip being disabled by default has a lot to do with nobody using it.
- foff6674 years agoNew Ace@Lancelot_du_Lac @Trokey66 VOIP has been in the battlefield franchise STANDARD for over 10 years, it would be like removing tanks or removing sniper rifles from the game. Its not a "whoever cries loudest" its a put * in the game that NEEDS to be in the game at launch.
