@0_KatsuiOh look, small bump, I'll ride tank on it so it lifts tanks nose/turret. Jet at about 300m or more altitude and about 1km away, jets pilot should feel safe, small anticipatation and kaboom, jets gone. T1 user should know that? Turret moves slow yes, it's even better cause when object is far, you give that anticipation and small move gives that fine adjustment. Idk worked well for me. But again Idk how you play, camping in mainbase or on the move/close to objectives.
Edit: I'm a bit bragging about that tank is cause people say no, it's not easy to use that tank, or pilot is not skilled enough to dodge without knowing there is one on field and if tank user gets that shot, he gets that kill. Just do darn homework. <--- last line meant for everyone.
Do homework? What does that even mean? Everyone is giving their own personal experience here.
Finding a small rock or whatever to get angled towards the sky is a pain. It’s hard to find something that works in the correct direction, angle, somewhat in cover, and then you have the insane amount of clipping in this game. I can barely crouch or circle strafe without clipping into the ground or being pushed around by geometry.

@Man_iLoveFishingRelax at any point? Feel safe?! I’m constantly running cover to cover and ALWAYS strafing in some manner to avoid being an easy target in ALL shooters.

and plinking at a tank is easier than ever right now

hell yea it is. haven't tried the ntw yet but the rail gun is GREAT for harassing a vehicle that is trying to camp out of bounds (in their spawn)

@RaginSamAs infantry? Everything you get killed by is mostly at 0-200m radius. If someone snipes you, it's part of it. But ever never the ever in bf history someone took you out with a tank one shot 1km away while you flying with jet. Ofc you have hard to find cover cause you are in the middle of crisis and chaos. Let's not forget medics that pull you up and let's not forget instant medped regen.
When you drive your car, you drive with care not to scratch it right? I fly with care not to die. (survive as much as possible)

Even when I'm sniping, I'm constantly moving. The point is that you're literally never safe in a BF game. Someone might be watching and just waiting for you to take a pause and then snipe you across the map. All of your examples are CQC fighting on a flag. That's not what I was trying to say at all. Up on the cranes on Manifest, I'm still not sitting still if I'm at all exposed. Or if I'm playing midfield behind the flag on Spearhead. If someone can get any sort of angle on me, I am moving. It's how the game plays.
It's the same when using a tank. I'm always on the move. Soon as you stop, Sundance flies in from across the map, silently, and then C5's you. I don't constantly swerve when using the Latv, but if I see a tank I sure do.
If you get shot down in a Jet by a Tank, that's on you. You're flying to slow, predictable, too low, and gave the Tank time to line up the shot.
How many times has the Rail Tank shot down a Jet that far away? I don't think you're being honest with that one. That's a very rare occurrence if it did ever happen. There's no way that happens regularly.

The railgun tank is not hitscan. Its a projectile with extreemely high velocity. At long and even medium-long ranges you will still miss the target if you do not lead with it. It's only one-shot to small air/jet with upgraded weapons and while in siege mode. Siege mode drastically limits turret angle and increases "wind-up" time for the gun. Hitting a high-speed jet at range is non-trivial. Yes, it happens. But I miss the jet way more often when it's at long rage. And if its close range, it should be flying high enough that its outside the angle of the turrets capability.
